Tei Ku

Today there was news spreading in the coffeeshop that tei ku (environment officer) is coming to the coffee shop. Guess what? Every stall starts to do their own area cleaning including me.

It reminds me of NS time when our sergent comes for bunk inspection and everyone would start to do last minute cleaning. It was a funny sight. You can imagine it was my first encounter as a hawker with a tei ku, however the tei ku never came.

Disappointing or happy, both bah.
